Our Process

We Start With You
We start with you. The initial interview will allow me to get to know you – your wants, desires, loves and hates as well as lifestyle considerations that are critical to know before designing any space. I want to know what is most meaningful to you in your design and in life so that the final result will not only be “so perfect” but more importantly “so you.”

Where The Magic Happens
The next step in the KSM design process is where all the magic happens. We will take measure of your space, formulate a space plan given what we now know about you and begin selecting specific materials for your renovation and redecoration. From your color palette and custom cabinetry to material finishes and fabric selection, KSM takes care of all
the details and handles all the daunting tasks that usually cost clients valuable time and money.

The Big Day
Then finally, the big day comes. The installation process can be especially challenging. But not with Kate and her team of drivers, movers, installers and stylists to help “set the stage” for your final reveal. Since we have measured every possible angle, height, width and depth, we’re sure that everything is going to fit through your door. Don’t you worry…
